We Innovate and Advocate for Successful Aging
The senior in-home care industry has potential to be a booming business opportunity for the foreseeable future. The rapidly growing over-65 population will tell anyone that loud and clear. But we know there is so much more to success beyond industry potential. We take a closer look at the challenges facing our aging society and ask, "How can we be part of the solution?"
You'll Enhance Lives Through Our Culture of Caring
Owning a Home Instead franchise is more than just a great business opportunity. It's a higher calling. When our founders Paul and Lori Hogan began this business in 1994, they envisioned a future where all people could age with greater hope and success.
In August 2021, Home Instead joined forces with Honor, the leading home care service company providing the most human-centric technology and operations platform. Honor, founded in 2014, was born out of the founders’ desire to make an impact in the world. After CEO Seth Sternberg went home and saw that his mother was starting to slow down, he brought this idea of caring for parents to his co-founders Sandy Jen, Monica Lo and Cameron Ring.
Together Honor and Home Instead are poised to advance how society cares for older adults. Together, we will expand the world’s capacity to care.
Fundamentally Transforming The Delivery of Home Care
Honor announced it has raised $70 million in Series E funding and $300 million in debt financing. The round brings Honor's total equity funding to date to $325 million and values the company at over $1.25 billion.
Honor's technology and operations platform, paired with Home Instead's global network and relationship-based care, will serve as a foundation for a dramatic increase in innovation investment to benefit professional caregivers and clients through expanded offerings.
