When Home Instead Senior Care® founders Paul and Lori Hogan began providing care for Paul's grandmother to help her remain at home, they envisioned a future where all people could age with greater hope and success.

Ready to CareSM

Ready to Care is a movement that encourages all people – not just professional or family caregivers – to help improve the lives of seniors through simple acts of care and kindness. Established in 2018 by Home Instead to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families through social change, Ready to Care inspires and empowers people to transform the aging experience through service, education, and giving. Our philosophy is that if everyone can do a little bit of care, we can care for everyone. Working together, we can help increase the world's capacity to care for our aging global village. Home Instead Senior Care Foundation 

In 2003, the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation was established to enhance the lives of aging adults and those who care for them. The signature program of the Foundation is GIVE65, the first and only crowd-fundraising platform exclusively devoted to raising funds and awareness for programs and services that give seniors hope. Since its inception, GIVE65 has raised and awarded more than $1 million to help seniors in communities across the country. 

 

Be a Santa to a Senior®

Each year, the Home Instead Senior Care® network partners with local non-profit and community organizations to identify seniors who might not otherwise receive gifts during the holiday season. Local franchise offices work with local businesses and retail stores to help seniors in need. Since the program began in 2003, there have been over 1.2 million gifts provided to deserving seniors; 60,000 volunteers who helped distribute gifts; and 700,000 seniors whose holiday was brighter thanks to the program.

 

We're proud to offer these ready-to-go programs to our network. Giving back is the right thing to do, and it can also help you engage your employees, clients, and community in meaningful ways.
