Paul Hogan and his wife Lori founded Home Instead Senior Care® in 1994. Since then, the company has grown from a small business operated from Paul's mother's dining room table into the largest senior care organization in the world. The Home Instead Senior Care network includes more than 1,000 franchise offices in 17 global markets. As chairman, Paul advocates for the senior care industry and the Home Instead Senior Care brand.
Paul is a founding board member of the Home Care Association of America and the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation, an organization providing financial support to non-profits dedicated to improving quality of life for seniors. He was also a founding member of the Nebraska chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization. In 2000, Paul was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship.
In 2005, Paul served as a delegate to the White House Conference on Aging. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006 by the International Franchise Association in recognition of his contribution to franchising.
Paul and Lori received the "E" Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce in May 2008 for their work exporting the home care business concept globally. This award is one of the highest honors the federal government presents to individuals, firms or organizations that make a significant contribution to American exports. The award was presented at a White House ceremony with President George W. Bush.
In 2009, the Hogans entered into a partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center to serve as anchor donors for the Home Instead Center for Successful Aging, a hub of medical services, education, activities and research dedicated to seniors located on the UNMC campus in Omaha.
Paul and Lori co-authored
Stages of Senior Care (McGraw-Hill) in 2009 to help seniors and their families make informed decisions about the senior care options available today. The book is a
USA Today Bestseller; all proceeds from sale of the book go to the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation.
Paul joined the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Ageing in 2010 and currently serves as Vice Chairman. Home Instead Senior Care is also a member of the World Economic Forum as a Global Growth Company Partner.

Paul and Lori have four children; they live in Omaha, Nebraska.
Lori Hogan, Co-Founder
Lori Hogan and her husband Paul founded Home Instead Senior Care® in 1994. The company started as a small business operated from Paul's mother's dining room table and is now the largest senior care organization in the world. Lori focuses her work on bettering the lives of Home Instead's 65,000 CAREGivers and is a source of inspiration for franchise owners.
As president and CEO of Home Instead, Inc., Jeff Huber oversees strategic planning and advocacy for the Home Instead Senior Care network; provides leadership on key initiatives; and manages the day-to-day operations of the Global Headquarters. The Global Headquarters has been named one of Omaha's "Best Places to Work" in Omaha for the past nine years.
Jeff joined Home Instead, Inc. in 1998 as franchise development manager when the company had just 125 franchise offices. Today, the Home Instead Senior Care network includes more than 1,000 franchises in 17 global markets. He previously served as Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Franchise Development before assuming his current role as president.
Jeff graduated magna cum laude from the Creighton University School of Law and summa cum laude from Creighton University. Jeff practiced law for four years, including two years as a law clerk for a United States District Court judge."It is an honor to be associated with an organization that not only enhances the lives of individuals, but also steps up to the challenges of a global aging society," he says. David Banark, Chief Operating Officer – U.S. and Canada
Dave Banark, Chief Operating Officer for the United States and Canada, oversees franchise support and training functions for the Home Instead Senior Care network as well as corporately owned operations. He joined Home Instead in 1998 as general manager of the first Home Instead Senior Care franchise in Omaha, Nebraska. Dave served as Vice President of Franchise Support in 2004, before assuming his current role in January 2012.
Before coming to Home Instead Senior Care, Dave operated Metro Medical Transportation in Omaha - an experience "that showed me the challenges of operating a service business in a highly competitive environment," he said. Dave sees a tremendous future for Home Instead Senior Care, thanks to its services and people: "Home Instead Senior Care has a strong culture of people with a shared sense of mission - serving seniors across North America and around the world."
John Hogan, Chief Development Officer
As Chief Development Officer, John Hogan leads a team focused on new franchise sales, franchise transfer sales and growth optimization within the network. John started his career with Home Instead Senior Care in 1995 as manager of the Omaha Branch franchise office, which was the company's only franchise at the time. Since then, John has served as franchise training manager, vice president of operations and vice president for training and technology.
John's prior franchising experience includes owning and operating a Merry Maids® franchise in Atlanta, GA, in the early 1990s. While he has believed in Home Instead Senior Care and its services from the beginning, John feels there's more to the company's phenomenal success. "Our business is all about people -- top to bottom and side to side -- and the personal relationships throughout our senior care network are the key to our success."
As Chief Innovation Officer, Scott Dingfield is devoted to future thinking for the organization. He leads a team focused on identifying and piloting new concepts and alliances that enhance the current business model or present new market opportunities.
Scott joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2001 after spending the previous decade in marketing and management roles with retail, non-profit and .com organizations. Scott assumed his current role in 2011 after six years as chief marketing officer. "I came to Home Instead Senior Care because I wanted to work for an organization in which the outcome had real meaning to real people," he says. "I stay with the organization because I love the mission and the people. I know we're positively impacting the lives of older adults and their families around the world. It's very fulfilling and I feel truly blessed to be part of this family."
Chief Brand Officer
Jessie Brumbach, Chief Brand Officer, oversees marketing, public relations and communications. In addition, Jessie is responsible for collaborative efforts on the company's focus to engage and develop Home Instead CAREGivers and develop programs and services to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families.
Jessie joined the Home Instead Senior Care staff in 2007 as marketing director and served as Vice President of Marketing from 2012 to 2014. She was previously employed by Cox Communications, where she worked for 15 years in various roles including consumer and business-to-business marketing and advertising; product management; and media sales management. Jessie also worked in film marketing and publicity at Universal Pictures and MGM on such films as Jurassic Park, Thelma and Louise and Fried Green Tomatoes. She also led marketing and sales efforts at the Hollywood Bowl and Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Jessie is honored to be a part of Home Instead Senior Care team. "The idea that we can enhance the lives of seniors and their families by our CAREGivers connecting with people makes the work intrinsically meaningful. With the upcoming increase in the aging population, the service we provide will continue to be a huge need across the globe."
Jisella Dolan, Chief Advocacy Officer
Jisella Veath Dolan, chief advocacy officer, leads the Home Instead advocacy division, which includes the Standards, Legal, Government Affairs and Thought Leadership teams. These departments are dedicated to advocating for aging adults and their families, scaling a quality care experience around the globe, protecting the integrity of the Home Instead Senior Care brand, and shaping and influencing home care policy around the world. Jisella also leads strategic, company-wide initiatives as a member of the senior leadership team. She started her career with Home Instead Senior Care in 2007 as the company's first general counsel.
Before joining Home Instead Senior Care, Jisella was a partner with a national law firm. She graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska's College of Law and was a member of Order of the Coif, the Nebraska Law Review and Phi Beta Kappa. "It's inspiring to be a member of the Home Instead Senior Care family. I'm honored to work for a company whose mission is to serve others and to care for our aging adults. Corey M. Watton, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Corey Watton oversees all company accounting and finance practices; financial statement and budget preparation; and all other compliance matters. Corey directs financial strategies with respect to company growth, operational efficiencies and treasury management. Corey also oversees the human resources and project management functions at Home Instead, Inc. The human resources team recruits, hires, trains and develops top talent to grow the Home Instead Senior Care network across the globe. The project management team enables Home Instead Inc. to prioritize, select, and deliver projects that create the most value for the organization.Corey joined Home Instead, Inc. as director of finance in April of 2009 and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2012. He earned a bachelor of science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and has been a certified public accountant in the State of Nebraska since 1998. "I have never seen a company where everyone works together so well for organizational success,” Corey said. “The best part of this collaboration is that economic success is secondary to the overall mission's success - we truly want seniors to have the highest possible quality of life by remaining in their homes as long as possible. I am extremely proud to work for the Home Instead Senior Care network."
Roger Baumgart, Executive Director Home Instead Senior Care Foundation
Roger Baumgart provides strategic leadership for the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation.
During his career at Home Instead, Inc., Roger has held key leadership positions including Vice President Support, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, President, and CEO of Home Instead Inc.
Roger brings a lifetime of small business, entrepreneurial, and franchise experience to his work, having learned franchising during a five-year stint with Mail Boxes Etc. Roger served as Vice President of Operations for a Midwest grocery store chain; he also owned and operated an Omaha grocery store and was president of the Nebraska Retail Grocers Association.
